Artist Statement:
This series of images began to develop in January 2006. Each image is:
- a representation of a subject (see detail below each work).
- intended to form a context in which the viewer can explore the subject represented by the object.
- a snapshot of something that is in flux. The viewer should imagine where the form is flowing next.
I have entitled the series Interpreceptions: The Art of the Viewer.
The form on the wall is not the complete work.
The development of the forms on the "wall" of the viewer's mind; your "interpreted perceptions" are the works of most interest to me, though, in most cases, I will never get to "see" them.
